Amnesia Haze
Soma Seeds' multi-landrace Amsterdam sativa — a two-time High Times Cannabis Cup winner with an intense, long-lasting cerebral high.
Amnesia Haze was bred by Soma Seeds in Amsterdam around 2003, drawing from multiple Southeast Asian and Caribbean landrace genetics: Thai, Cambodian, Laotian, Afghani Hawaiian, and Jamaican Haze. It won first place in the Sativa category at the High Times Cannabis Cup in both 2004 and 2012 — a span that confirms its staying power rather than a single moment of recognition.
Terpinolene leads the terpene profile, producing a tropical-citrus aroma with piney undertones and a clean, bright character. Effects are intense and long-lasting: fast cerebral onset (2–5 minutes), strong euphoria and mental energy, and a 3–4 hour effect window that is longer than most sativa hybrids. The "Amnesia" refers to the experience's all-consuming quality — the cerebral intensity is high enough to disrupt short-term memory formation during the peak. A daytime strain for experienced consumers; not appropriate for new users or anyone anxiety-prone.
