The Vermont cannabis resource we couldn't find — so we built it.

Why this exists

Vermont's adult-use cannabis market opened on October 1, 2022. Since then, the state has issued hundreds of licenses and scores of retail storefronts have opened — from Burlington's waterfront to the Northeast Kingdom. But the directories people actually reached for, Leafly and Weedmaps, were built for bigger markets. Vermont got the afterthought: stale hours, missing licenses, a lot of blank rows, and no editorial point of view.

Hyperlocal markets like Vermont need hyperlocal resources. Someone who walks into the shop in Winooski, notices that they moved their deli counter, and writes that down. Someone who reads the CCB rulebook so you don't have to. Someone who tells you, honestly, whether the place across town is worth the drive.

That's what we are.

How we work

We publish on a regular weekly cadence and keep directory entries current through a mix of hands-on review and an autonomous content pipeline — we believe strongly in shipping over perfect, and we trust our editorial standards to hold even when the ink is still drying. Every published article passes a factual review and is attributed to a real byline. Facts about Vermont law are cross-referenced against primary sources (Vermont Cannabis Control Board, Department of Taxes, Act 164). If we get something wrong, we fix it quickly and say so.

Dispensary entries are updated when we learn of changes — a move, new hours, a menu-provider switch, a license revision. If you're an operator and something is out of date, email us; we correct it the same day.

Evan is the editorial voice behind most of our dispensary profiles, strain spotlights, and explainer guides. When additional contributors join the masthead, they'll appear here.

Advertising policy

We accept sponsorships from dispensaries and cannabis-adjacent brands. Sponsorship never changes a dispensary's factual information, ratings, or position in default sort orders. Sponsors get distinct promotional modules — clearly labelled as sponsored — and priority placement in rotating slots on high-traffic pages. That's it. Privacy & data

We don't sell your data. We don't run retargeting. If you subscribe to our newsletter we store your email and a subscribe timestamp, nothing more. If you click through to a dispensary's menu, we log an anonymous count so we can tell operators how well their listing is performing — that's it. The full details are in our privacy policy.
