How we measure this
Our tracker captures each dispensary's public online menu daily and records the advertised list price of every in-stock flower listing. For each shop we compute an average price per advertised gram, normalizing across the eighths, quarters, and grams that menus actually sell, so a shop that only lists eighths and one that lists grams can be compared fairly. We track 25 shops, which we estimate at roughly 71% of Vermont's retail catchment — so the true statewide cheapest could sit at a shop we do not yet cover.
Two honest caveats. First, these are menu list prices, not point-of-sale receipts — your out-the-door total adds Vermont's 20% cannabis excise tax plus sales tax, and any shop promotion changes the math.
