The Greenhouse Dispensary
recreationalAbout The Greenhouse Dispensary
The Greenhouse Dispensary occupies 12B Conant Square in downtown Brandon, directly across from Dunkin’ Donuts — a Victorian-era storefront with bohemian furnishings (green velvet, reclaimed wood) that deliberately contrasts with the clinical aesthetic of chain dispensaries.
Co-owners Ellie Romp and Dan Lovely built the shop around local sourcing: roughly 80% of the cannabis on the shelves is grown either by the owners themselves or by regional Vermont cultivators. Romp previously operated Epona Farm dispensary before relocating to Brandon. The community-integration approach extends beyond the product: the space hosts a Saturday morning chess club (11 AM–1 PM), monthly live music events, and serves as a gathering point for local artists and musicians.
Upstairs from the dispensary, Greenhouse Guitars — operated by musician Adam Dewey — sells vintage and used guitars, mandolins, violins, drums, plus vintage clothing and furniture. The combined retail space is unusual for a Vermont dispensary and reflects Brandon’s arts-and-culture identity.
Hours: Monday–Saturday 10:00 AM–7:00 PM, Sunday 10:00 AM–5:00 PM. Adults 21+ with valid photo ID. Vermont cannabis tax in Brandon: 21% total.
