Stone Leaf Cannabis at 71 Artisans Way is Windsor's adult-use dispensary, founded by two lifelong Vermont partners who built their operation around in-house breeding, sustainable cultivation, and transparency.

The shop was co-founded by Nick Castro, who brings over 20 years of cannabis genetics and breeding experience, and Sam, who operates a cultivation farm in Marshfield, Vermont (the Northeast Kingdom). Castro has developed more than 40 proprietary cannabis strains through selective breeding — a catalog not replicated elsewhere in Vermont retail, bred for Vermont's climate, high cannabinoid content, and natural resistance. Their extraction program uses solventless methods exclusively (no butane or propane; water hash and rosin), and cultivation employs Korean Natural Farming techniques, a soil-biology-focused approach that feeds the plants with teas brewed from local plants. A 500 kW solar project in Springfield, VT powers Stone Leaf's facilities.

At the retail level, Stone Leaf carries flower, edibles, and concentrates, with lab results available for purchased products. The shop distributes house-grown and house-extracted products to select retailers statewide; the Windsor storefront is the direct-source outlet for the full lineup.
