Something Wicked Cannabis Company
recreationalAbout Something Wicked Cannabis Company
Something Wicked Cannabis Company is at 269 Main Street, Riverview Unit in Bethel, Vermont — in the lower level of the building, steps from the White River. It is the only CCB-licensed adult-use dispensary in Bethel and the only shop on the I-89 corridor between Randolph (Exit 4, ~10 miles north) and White River Junction (Exit 1, ~15 miles south).
The shop is owned by Shannon Morrill, who spent nearly 20 years as a genetic counselor working with cancer patients before selling her house and reinventing herself in cannabis. She opened Something Wicked on December 15, 2023, and identifies as female, a member of the LGBTQ+ community, and as a person with a disability. The shop's name sets a deliberately unapologetic, non-corporate tone.
Payment: cash and debit accepted; ATM on site. Note that tap/contactless payments (Apple Pay, etc.) are not accepted — a physical debit card is required if not paying cash. Hours: daily 11:00 AM–6:00 PM, every day of the week.
Products include flower, pre-rolls, edibles, tinctures, vaporizers, seltzers, and CBD products. Vermont cannabis tax in Bethel: 20% total (14% cannabis excise + 6% state sales tax; Bethel has not adopted a local option tax).
