Polestar Cannabis
recreationalAbout Polestar Cannabis
Polestar Cannabis is at 24 Pleasant Street in downtown Randolph, Vermont — on the first floor of the Trillium Building, behind Wee Bird Bagel Café. When it opened, Polestar was the first CCB-licensed cannabis dispensary to serve the White River Valley and the 36th licensed in the state.
The shop was founded by Jon Erdman, who spent 14 years streamlining retail operations at Vermont-based Spare Time Entertainment before entering the cannabis industry. Polestar carries flower, pre-rolls, vapes, edibles, concentrates, topicals, and tinctures, with featured brands from local and regional Vermont producers, and it serves both recreational (adult-use) customers and medical cannabis patients. The shop has the feel of an upscale boutique — soft lighting, subtle background music, and bright display cases — and is integrated with Dutchie for online ordering and menu browsing ahead of your visit.
Hours: Monday–Thursday 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, Friday 10:00 AM–7:00 PM, Saturday 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, Sunday 10:00 AM–5:00 PM. The Friday extended close (7 PM) is the latest Polestar operates. Sunday closes earliest at 5 PM — plan accordingly if arriving late on a Sunday.
Randolph sits at I-89 Exit 4 on Vermont Route 66 — widely described as the geographic center of Vermont, on the Burlington-to-White-River-Junction I-89 corridor. The town is roughly equidistant between the Barre-Montpelier cluster (~22–25 miles north) and White River Junction (~30 miles south).
Vermont cannabis tax in Randolph: 20% total (14% cannabis excise + 6% state sales tax). Randolph has not adopted a local option tax, so there is no additional 1% local charge.
