Emeraldrose Grows
recreationalAbout Emeraldrose Grows
Emeraldrose Grows occupies a storefront at 11 Main Street in the center of Bristol, Vermont — a small Addison County town at the crossroads of Route 116 (north to Burlington, south to Middlebury) and Route 17 (west to Vergennes and the Crown Point Bridge, east to the Mad River Valley).
The shop's defining feature is its farm-to-shelf model: Emeraldrose Farms, the operation's in-house cultivation arm, grows a selection of house flower that's available directly at the counter alongside flower and products from partnering local Vermont farms. The result is a menu focused on regional provenance rather than broad national brands. Products span flower, pre-rolls, edibles, vape carts, elixirs, and tinctures.
Emeraldrose Grows also maintains a grow supply section — serving home cultivators as well as cannabis consumers, which is unusual among Vermont dispensaries and reflects the operation's roots in cultivation.
**HOURS (plan ahead):** Emeraldrose Grows is open Tuesday through Saturday, 11:00 AM–5:00 PM only. The shop is closed Sunday and Monday. If you're visiting Bristol on a Sunday or Monday, or arriving after 5 PM on any day, the shop will be closed — the nearest open alternatives are FLŌRA Cannabis and The Herbal Collective in Middlebury (~8 miles south on Route 116), or Little City Greens in Vergennes (~12 miles west on Route 17).
Vermont cannabis tax in Bristol: 21% total (14% cannabis excise + 6% state sales + 1% Bristol local option tax, adopted by voters March 2026, effective July 1, 2026).
