Sunkissed Farm
recreationalAbout Sunkissed Farm
Sunkissed Farm at 4374 W Woodstock Rd is Vermont's most distinctive farm-to-shelf cannabis retailer west of Woodstock village β a dispensary where the owners cultivate every product on their own land and let customers inspect and smell the flower before buying, the same way a Vermont farm stand treats vegetables and cheese.
The farm was founded in 2023 by three partners: Spencer Hayes, a Pomfret native and Woodstock Union High School graduate who left a career in finance; Emily Bleeker, the head of cultivation, who came to cannabis through produce farming in a Minnesota farm family; and Brad Macrae, a veteran cannabis grower. With money raised largely from friends and family across the Upper Valley, they bought a 29-acre Connecticut River floodplain estate in Windsor, Vermont β land under continuous agricultural cultivation since 1805 β for $490,000. They grow entirely outdoors in living soil using a "beyond organic," closed-loop method (the farm's cows feed the compost, the compost feeds the soil, the soil feeds the plants) with no synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers. Their house-grown flower supplies both this dispensary and a network of other Vermont retailers.
The dispensary opened in Woodstock (at this 4374 W Woodstock Rd address) to bring the harvest closer to consumers. The shop operates on a farm-stand philosophy: cannabis flower is available to smell and examine before purchase, mimicking the direct-from-the-grower experience that distinguishes Vermont's small-farm food culture. The selection centers on Sunkissed Farm's house-grown flower alongside a full product range including edibles, concentrates, and pre-rolls.
