Compare Cannabis Strains

Pick up to three strains and line up type, THC, terpenes, effects, and lineage. Useful when a budtender says "it's basically Blue Dream, but different" and you want to see how different.

Compare-tool questions

Why compare two cannabis strains?
Strains with similar names (e.g., Blue Dream vs. Blueberry) can have very different terpene profiles, THC ranges, and effects. A side-by-side comparison lines up the numbers and the dominant terpenes so you can see whether the strains will feel the same, or whether the shared parentage is skin-deep.
How do I read a strain comparison table?
Start with type (indica/sativa/hybrid), then look at dominant terpenes β€” that pairing predicts most of the felt experience. THC range is a headline number but varies a lot between batches; use it as a rough band rather than an absolute.
Are the THC percentages shown per-strain exact?
They are ranges, not exact readings. Cannabis is an agricultural product and the same strain can test at 18% one harvest and 24% the next. Always check the label on the specific jar you are buying β€” Vermont requires lab-verified cannabinoid content on every package.
Does lineage really matter?
Somewhat. Lineage explains flavor and terpene heritage (a GSC-cross will usually carry some cookie sweetness), but modern phenotype hunting means two plants from the same lineage can be wildly different. Lineage is useful background, not prophecy.
